ROAD NOTICE  
Weather permitting, PECO will be working on the following Middletown Township roads through the beginning of March: Valley Road, Forge Road, Darlington Road, and New Darlington Road.  Work will take place between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm.  The roadwork will have flaggers, signage, and possible intermittent blockages as equipment is moved into the work zones and possibly closures in tight sections of road. Residents, emergency, and service vehicles will be allowed access during any closures. 


Sleighton School Property Game Commission Exchange : The Edgmont Township Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 6:30 PM with representatives of the Pennsylvania Game Commission to discuss the Game Commission’s acquisition of 176.8 acres of the Sleighton School Property in Edgmont Township.

COUNCIL VACANCY NOTICE DISTRICT 3: Notice is hereby given that the Township of Middletown Township, Delaware County, PA currently has one (1) vacancy on Township Council in District 3. Township Council is now accepting applications of qualified candidates for appointment to temporarily fill the vacancy until a qualified person is elected at the next election, which is the primary election.


AQUA WATER MAIN PROJECT:  Started November 2025 - Restoration is anticipated in Spring 2026.  AQUA Water Main Project will begin the replacement of 6,100 feet of water main on Forge Road, Valley Road, New Darlington, Darlington Road, Bowers Lane, Rushley Way, and Old Forge Road. Construction will generally take place on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During construction times, road closures may occur. However, access will be maintained for emergencies, mail, school buses, trash, and recycling services.





PUBLIC NOTICE:  Middletown Township statement on notice of deemed approval of the tentative plan of Elwyn of Pennsylvania and Delaware and Rocky Run Development, LLC for planned residential development at the Sleighton Farm School property.  The Township disputes the Developer’s claim of a deemed approval of the Tentative Plan and intends to vigorously challenge this claim
