We have been alerted to a recent internet scam that has involved several local municipalities. Residents of the respective municipalities have received “spoofed” emails from what at first glance appears to be the Township.
The Township will never request residents to provide personal or financial information over the internet. If you receive a suspicious e-mail that appears to be from the Township, don’t hesitate to call the Township Office to confirm.

December 20: Santa is coming to Middletown Township 11:00 a.m.
ROAD CLOSURE: Starting November 2025, Aqua Pennsylvania will begin the replacement of 6,100 feet of water main on Forge Road, Valley Road, New Darlington, Darlington Road, Bowers Lane, Rushley Way, and Old Forge Road. Construction will generally take place on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During times of construction, access will be provided for emergencies, mail, school buses, and trash service. Restoration is anticipated in Spring 2026.
ROAD CLOSURE: Aqua contractor will have a portion of Forge Road closed starting Friday December 12th through Wednesday December 24th. The road closure will be between Stephen Dr. and Paul Lane starting at 8:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday daily, weather permitting. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Quarry Notification Letter - January 2025
PUBLIC NOTICE: Middletown Township statement on notice of deemed approval of the tentative plan of Elwyn of Pennsylvania and Delaware and Rocky Run Development, LLC for planned residential development at the Sleighton Farm School property. The Township disputes the Developer’s claim of a deemed approval of the Tentative Plan and intends to vigorously challenge this claim. Read More Here
