Summer Camp Counselors Wanted

Position Objectives:

Middletown Township Parks & Recreation is looking for high-energy, enthusiastic individuals ages 16 and older to work at a full-day summer recreation camp from June 16 to July 25, 2025.  Positive, problem-solving leaders are wanted to engage children ages 4 to 10.  Camp counselors will be responsible for planning and supervising games, activities, and crafts that will be engaging and fun for the kids.  Counselors must be coachable, creative, and possess a strong desire to be part of a youth enrichment program.

Counselors will be essential in providing children with a safe, fun environment.  Summer Camp will be held Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Camp counselors must commit to working all six weeks of the program. Compensation is commensurate with experience and/or prior Township employment. Each applicant must complete a PA Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal History Clearance, and an FBI Criminal History Background Check.
